On Monday, 27th October there will be a workshop in Lisbon to show off some of the ESF initiatives at in Operational Programmes and to discuss how factors like listening or attention to gender can lead to social innovation and what are the characteristics of people who are doing social innovation?

The other main presentation and discussion area of the workshop is how these innovations are being scaled upward and outward - or mainstreamed.

The results of these discussions will be presented at the EQUAL event in Lisbon on the 10th, 11th and 12th December. There will also be some social reporting of the event which means that you will be able to get a taste of what goes on at the workshop through blog posts and video recordings - even if you don't manage to get to the event itself.
